Description
Sika® Primer-206 G+P is a black, moisture-curing liquid primer specifically formulated for the treatment of bond faces prior to application of Sika® polyurethane adhesives. Sika® Primer-206 G+P is manufactured in accordance with ISO 9001 / 14001 quality assurance system and the responsible care program.
Sika® Primer-206 G+P is used to give improved adhesion in adhesive bonding applications on substrates such as glass, ceramiccoated glass and painted surfaces. Sika® Primer-206 G+P can also be used on other substrates such as plastics and some metals. This product is suitable for experienced professional users only. Tests with actual substrates and conditions, especially boundary temperature conditions have to be performed to ensure adhesion and material compatibility.
250ml Can: Surfaces must be clean, dry and free from grease, oil and dust. Apply Sika® Aktivator using the wipe-on, wipe-off method and allow flashing off. Shake the can of Sika® Primer-206 G+P very thoroughly until mixing ball rattles freely. Continue shaking for another minute and apply a thin but covering coat with a brush, felt pad or foam applicator. Ideal application and surface temperature is between 15°C and 25°C (60°F to 75°F). Consumption and method of application depend on the specific nature of the substrates and manufacturing process. Sika® Primer-206 G+P should be applied once only. Care must be taken to ensure that this single application gives adequately dense coverage.
